User feedback summary on
warts treatment with ACV:

What comes out loud and clear after reading the numerous testimonials posted below is how delighted and surprised people are to find that such a simple and inexpensive procedure using natural apple cider vinegar can be so effective in removing warts.

The only drawback most often mentioned is the pain involved.
Not everyone experiences pain, but for those who do, it can last anywhere from a few hours to several days. In these cases, over the counter pain medication has been found to help.

Alternative Natural Procedure

If you find this vinegar procedure too painful or you do not get the expected results, there is another home remedy to remove warts, using completely natural substances, which is entirely pain free.

The simple procedure is explained by Charles Davidson, an alternative medical practitioner, in his e-book called "Moles,Warts & Skin Tags Removal". He includes dozens of testimonials from others who have used it to remove not only planter and common warts but also external genital warts, moles and skin tags.

In this 90 page e-book, Charles Davidson describes the differences between warts, moles and skin tags, discusses the major drawbacks of current surgical strategies for removing them and the benefits of permanently and painlessly removing these skin problems with his all natural method.

The book is easy to read, is instantly downloadable, and contains lots of useful color pictures.

If for any reason, you find this e-book is not helpful in painlessly removing your moles, warts, or skin tags, you can get a full 100% refund up to 60 days after purchase.

I last wrote on this website about 2 years ago when I was having trouble with warts, one on my finger and one on my toe.

I had had the warts for about half a year, maybe more when I first tried ACV. Both warts have gone and I am so much happier.

The treatment took a little longer for the wart on my toe to disappear completely. That wart came back, I think because I picked it off too early and it hadn't had a chance to properly respond. However about 2-3 weeks of continued treatment that little bad-boy went and has not returned since.

This really works if you stick at it and just keep it up. You smell of vinegar, it's a bit messy with all the cotton balls but totally worth it.

I am now going to start again by attacking a plantar wart I've had on my foot for years. I did originally treat all my warts in one go, but when the two that were visible had cleared up I just go lazy and stopped treating the plantar one.

However, I can't go on hiding my feet or always being embarrassed about the state of my feet. I want to be able to take my shoes AND socks off and not worry that someone might see the soles of my feet.

I have soaked my foot in ACV for about 2hours today and have just applied a little neat solution and secured it with some duct tape. This is it- I don't care if I'm doing this for months, I will beat these horrid things.

So for anyone out there who is wondering if this works- believe it. Read all the testimonies and try it for yourself. I wouldn't have tried it if it wasn't for the comments other people had written and I am so grateful that they did.

Good luck :)

I've had a huge wart on my 1st knuckle on my left hand for just under a year.

It's been very embarrassing and have taught myself how to hide my hand very well...at pubs, on the tube, at work meetings...wherever. It's not been a nice experience.

Anyway I am another testament to the use of ACV for wart removal. Because mine was so bad it took about 3 months of ACV treatment to get rid of. Basically it took 3 'periods' i.e treatment then cutting/picking off the dead wart. On the 3rd time round I also treated it with a product called 'Spot Wand' from a UK pharmacy chain...this seems to have made all the difference in helping to finally kill it. It is a mixture of tea tree oil and witch hazel...used to treat acne.

Anyway am very happy and relieved to be able to say that it's almost completely gone now. There'll be scar tissue because it was so big and bad, but will be far far better than the filthy wart!

OMG, I am using ACV now for a plantar wart and it is KILLING me!

I'm not giving up though. This is the 3rd night. It has already turned black below the surface. The surrounding area is swollen and there are some white lumps. I think it is just part of the swelling.

I haven't seen too many comments about the pain, so I hope it is working correctly.

BTW I have this wart for over a year and it has been frozen twice, but never went away completely. Stay tuned!

Using Apple Cider Vinegar worked amazingly for me.

Only did it for one day because my wart started turning black and I got bored of doing it. I figured I'd see what happened and do it some more if I had to.

I got impatient and peeled off the skin too early, which caused a lot of bleeding and I thought I'd ruined it. However a little over a week later the scab from the where I'd scratched at it too much just came off, taking the wart with it completely painlessly.

Amazing. All I did was tear off the end of a Q-tip, completely soak it in ACV and tape it on my finger for about 24 hours total. This is amazing. There was a little pain, but nothing I couldn't take or really even focused on for very long.

Such an excellent way to do this, I don't know how people sell wart remover when you can buy $2.00 ACV that does the same thing.

I developed a wart on my thumb about 5 months ago - it soon turned into 4 on both hands.

I tried salicylic acid which seemed to work at first, but the warts returned. Then it worked no more. I bought a home freeze kit and I didn't get any results from it. The warts were more and more embarrassing, then to my horror I began developing a plantar wart.

Enough was enough, a week ago I was ready to give in and go to the doctor about it. On a whim I searched for home remedies and came across tons of success stories over ACV. I was skeptical at first, but yesterday I finally got a bottle to try it out.

After just one day the two main warts are black, the other two are starting to blacken, and the planter wart is shrinking as well. I tear cotton balls into smaller pieces, soak with ACV, and secure with a band-aid. I do have some pain, but it isn't too horrendous. Plus it's completely worth the results I'm getting. None of the other things I tried worked this well so fast. Truly amazing!

Tiny bottle of Salicylic Acid: $12

Freeze Away Kit: $25

Huge bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar: $1.99

Best investment ever.

I am one year into fighting fingers that seem to want warts on them, with two large ones...one on my left thumb and one on my left pinky.

This sucks for a 24 year old woman just starting out in the working world!

Duct tape and ointments kept warts at bay on my other fingers, but the one on my thumb just got larger and larger and larger. First I didn't know what it was, and it was a mosaic wart before I knew what was happening.

I had warts on my fingers as a child and remember the methods, medicine, and finally the painful freezing that rid me of them, so I have spent a year and at least 150 dollars on freezing kits, acids, and duct tape, but NOTHING was actually getting to the "root" of the wart. I felt like I was just hurting myself cutting off dead skin weekly for nothing, freezing it constantly.

I was at my wits end three days ago and found this site, willing to try anything. Praise God there was ACV in the kitchen!!! Probably been sitting there all year. ONLY the testimonies on this site gave me hope! :)

I did two two hour treatments the first day, and one the second day, and one the third day. It hurt so bad, and took so long to stop hurting, that I couldn't do it for longer. I know some people do it for longer. That being said, I could tell something was different. The pain was less with each treatment after the second time. (the worst, shouldn't have done it at night, couldn't sleep it was so bad)

The medium size mosaic wart on my pinky turned really black and a little prying brought the whole thing off tonight in just three days, down to the flesh,I poured rubbing alcohol on it, and the whole meat of the wart appears to be gone. After it dried I put on Neosporin.

My thumb wart (HUGE) turned mosaicly brown with tons of dots, and I frankly cut off the top layer tonight, which I could tell was very dead, and I was afraid the ACV wouldn't penetrate, but I don't know if that's a real concern. I wanted to see results! Underneath is the same surface area of the wart, but it consists of white skin and fewer brown dots.

More ACV then, but I am SO AMAZED by these results, I have no fear that a few more days of treatment and I will soon have a wart-free thumb. It seems weird to say, but I swear the warts feel more separate from your hand after ACV. You know it's working. The pain was just awful for the last few days, but nothing compared to the intermittent pain and dull humiliation of the last year. Band-aids everyday are noticeable! And as it is not pain suffered in vain, I suffer it gladly. :)

The pain should not discourage anyone, my warts were/are deep and big, and now they aren't. That's enough, isn't it!? :) Try ACV!!!!!!!!!!

About 2 years ago, a wart popped up on my knee. I ignored it at first, simply because I had them on my hands when I was younger and I didn't think they could every come back.

Well, I was wrong.
Over 2 years later, now I have about 30 of them. Most of them are small, but it was starting to scare me because I was seeing them appear on different parts of my body (Including one on my chin!)

Well I went on line recently because I was tired of the embarrassment and constantly having to hide my leg from people.

After finding ACV as a remedy, I decided to just give it a shot.

Well, I have been using it for the past 3 nights, and already they are falling off one by one!

The only recommendation I have is if you are going to start the treatment, keep up with it because from previous experience, if you don't they will disappear for a little bit and then grow back even bigger!

Okay, so I never ever try home remedies.
I just don't think they work but when I had a wart that I couldn't get rid of by freezing it, I was willing to try anything.

After 24 hours of the ACV covering my wart, it puffed up and started to ache. After a day or two of reapplying the ACV and covering with a bandaid, I was able to let air dry and then scrap off the dead skin.

After 1 week, I am wart free. Honestly, it's incredible.

Try this before buying the home-freeze stuff. It's cheaper and works better.

This really does work!!

I had a wart on my finger and had tried every over the counter product to treat it.

Meanwhile, where my finger touched the other finger I got one there and they started spreading. I had several that had grouped together and had really big warts.

I treated one finger at a time before moving to the next one because yes, I did experience some pain.
All of the warts were gone and that was a year and a half ago and I am still wart free.

My mother and brother tried this too and it worked for both of them. I will continue to use this if I ever need it again and spread the word about it!

I've had a lot of warts on my hand and fingers for a few years, and recently they started multiplying.

I've tried Compound W to no avail, so I though what could it hurt to try home remedies?

Read this article and bought some ACV two days ago. I put it on a wart to test it, and ever since, it looks like the wart is being pushed out of my finger.

I'm really surprised and relieved that this is working! It already has a few black spots starting to surface, and by the looks of it, it should be gone in a week!

Thanks a bunch for this article, I would recommend this method to anyone.

WOW this really does work.

I have a large plantar wart on my heal and its very painful.

I started using the ACV on it 2 days ago and it has already descreased in size by about 50% and has turned very black.

This wart was very painful and everytime I put too much pressure on it, it would start to bleed, but now that I'm using the AVC I can put full pressure on my foot again without it bleeding at all.

Thank Goodness, because I'm a softball pitcher and I've been having trouble pitching lately because of it.

I'm so glad I found this website. Thank you sooo much.

So if you've got a wart that hurts or you have a wart that you just think is really ugly try using ACV, it will work when nothing else does.

I had 4 warts on my fingers, one on my middle finger ( I had 2 warts and they grew together to make a even bigger wart!) and another one in the same spot and one at the bottom of my middle finger. And also one on the side of my left foot!,

I tried "freeze off" at the doctor which was very painful, and wart remover I got at a store.. and a lot more!. Well guess what, none of them worked.

I have now had them for 2 years!.

And I have heard about APPLE CIDER VINEGAR and I thought I guess I will give it a shot.
well I bought it took it home.

Used a small cotton ball poured vinegar on it and put it on my warts, and put a band-aid on it and used duct tape to cover it well. I kept it on for 2 nights, I took it off and wow it got smaller, so I did the same thing I poured some apple cider vinegar on a small cotton ball put it on my warts and put a band-aid and duct tape to put over the band aid. I waited a few days and I took it off and WOW it really worked.

They were finally gone. I thought I don't have to hide my hands to my boyfriend. I can finally hold his hand without worrying about him seeing or feeling my warts (which I used band aids to hide them he he=) so he would not catch them because they spread very easy.

So I recommend that you use apple cider vinegar!. It has enough acid to kill your warts that's why it works because of all the acid!

Ha ha, thank you acid.... hehehe! lol :)

It's true. It works. It works within days if you just leave it on all day.

If you tear the cotton ball up into small pieces, you can conceal the entire thing with a band-aid and wear it to work with no one questioning.

Apple cider vinegar has been a staple in my house for a year, it's great for many things.

I just want to attest the fact that this really works.

My husband had a small wart on his elbow. He was extremely self conscious about.

For a few nights before he went to bed we soaked a cotton ball in the vinegar and taped it to his arm. Within days the wart had turned black and just eventually fell completely off.

It has been over a year now and no signs of it coming back.

Wow I couldn't believe I found on your website an article about removing warts with ACV.

When I was a child (now 59-so a loooong time ago :) ), I had a seed wart on my little finger. I would scrape the top of the wart and hold a cotton ball soaked in vinegar on it. It disappeared completely.

I can't believe I did this long before all this was really common knowledge. Who knew?

But make sure the ACV is just touching the wart as it does damage skin, but heals in the end.

I worried all the time and tried everything to remove a small patch of common warts from my hand.

The apple cider vinegar is the ONLY thing that worked for me, after all of those expensive removal products and vitamins. I didn't believe it at first, and it took a while but now my hand is clear for the first time in 5 or 6 years.

I wish I would have known about this before my wedding.

The ACV wasn't painful to me because I didn't tape it on overnight or anything. Instead, I put it on a cotton ball and swiped it over the area about three times a day for a few weeks.

It didn't look like it was working because it kept scabbing and bleeding, so I stopped. I peeled the dry skin and scabs off every day until there were some pink spots of new skin left.

Now (about two months later) you can hardly tell that anything was ever there. The skin is still a bit new, but it will fade in time and it beats ugly warts!

I have tried every treatment out there, involving a lot of time, expense, and money over the last few years.

When I was pregnant about 4 years ago or so, I developed a number of plantar warts on both feet. Using the freezing kits worked for most of the warts --- however, a large one remained and would NOT go away no matter what I did. I picked it, sliced it, shaved it off with razors, burned it with salicylic acid 20% about a million times, used the freezing kits on it a million times, etc. --- NOTHING worked.

I developed a wart on my thumb several months ago, right on the inside where the joint bends. this was annoying/painful because my pen would rub it while I was writing in class. I also tried freezing it, etc. --- and it wouldn't go away.

This started to really bother me, because I didn't want anyone to see this wart on my hand, it was embarassing, annoying, painful, etc.

I found this website and read about the apple cider vinegar cure, and decided to try it.

Seriously, it worked like magic! after 1 day of applying the apple cider vinegar --- (at night, I would soak a small piece of toilet paper in some bragg's apple cider vinegar, place it on the wart, and wrap it up with some medical tape) --- the wart blackened inside and swelled up and turned white on the perimeter. It did hurt, but it was worth it to see the progress.

I repeated the process at night for about 2 more nights, just to make sure the wart would disappear. It turned very black, and dried out during the day, looking like a black scab. On about the 4th day I pulled the black scab off. A few days after that, I pulled off a layer of dry skin, and my skin is now PERFECT. There is no indication there was a wart, and there is no scar.

I am now attacking my plantar wart --- the one that has been there for over 4 years.

Last night I shaved it down and applied the apple cider vinegar as described. I had no pain, and in the morning, I could see the tell-tale black spots to show the ACV is working.

I am sure that within the next few days --- this wart will also be gone. FINALLY! after 4 plus years, I'll be able to go for a pedicure!!!! (before, I was too embarassed, so I would always do my own pedicures --- but it's more fun to have someone else do it!)

As an engineer, I am usually a bit skeptical of promises, but I was very impressed with how well this worked.

I was desperate after a Dr. caused the ring wart to happen and had no real cure - some very expensive cream that did nothing - he didn't think it would work I don't think.

I went here and found this site.

A ring wart the size of a dime fell off after many weeks of light treatment.

It was great - turned black then one day after a shower, a chunk came off with great skin underneath. Wow!

You have to try it - it's cheap so why not - you will be very happy you did. That was two years ago. Sorry it took so long for me to get back to leaving a message!

When I was 23, I got my first wart on my index finger.

The thing turned out to be massive. I mean it was HUGE and SOOOOOOO embarrassing, everything I tried failed at killing it. By the time I turned 27 I had 5 warts.

I had spent so much money it was ridiculous! Nothing worked. I really became depressed about it, and I felt disgusting! I also constantly had to hide it with band aids and I mean, people catch on when they see a bandaid on the same places for years.

I've looked up many at home remedies and none of them worked. The last one I used was the banana peel one...well what a pain in the butt that was...and plus it didn't work. I felt HELPLESS because I saw that people went to the doctor and spent sooooo much money to have it frozen off or extracted somehow...and even that didn't guarantee that it would be gone forever!

I finally said...I'm going to try one more thing...and if that doesn't work, I guess I'll just have to cover these painful disgusting things up FOREVER.

We were in the grocery store and I saw that apple cider vinegar was on an end cap on sale...and I remembered how people swore by it for wart removal...well, I heard and read that before. I decided to try it, I mean it was like 2 dollars a bottle. Why not give it a shot.

I put a little dab on a smaller piece of cotton...I decided just to try my really large wart. I put a bandaid on it to keep it in place...and to be extra sure it didn't move, I fastened it all on with duct tape. I did this only two nights. Then I just took it off and I kinda gave up. I didn't even really look at my wart. I had a really hectic week. The next time I looked down my wart was a 1/4 of the size it was before...I let it go and the damn wart was GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

I STILL can't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am always looking at my finger and rubbing it in disbelief! I PROMISE this will work! I had the wart for 4 years and it was HUGE! I thought it will NEVER be gone! I have NOOOOOO warts now! It is AMAZING and I am SOOOOOO thankful that I gave it that one last try!

MY fingers are beautiful now! I cried lol You can get rid of these wretched things!

Just use apple cider vinegar! GOOD LUCK :D

I am simply amazed at this remedy.

I stumbled across this website in my desperate attempt to figure out WHAT plantars warts were and why I had them. I'm 26 and this is my first experience (not one I want to repeat!)

I suffered 3 months before realizing what they were and decided to give ACV a try.

I dab the ACV on a small piece of cotton, bandaid my foot and go about my day. I started with every night. Now I am using it 24/7.

I am on day 5 and I am simply stunned at how well they are doing. They are dark, smaller and I can walk without limping.

The first 1-3 days expect tenderness. First of all, you're putting acid on an open wound. Second, the skin is more inflamed at first. It gets used to it. Now, I barely know they're there.

I have one on my heel that I suspect will be gone in a couple days. Another on the opposite ball of my foot that is doing remarkably well.

Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU. Without finding this, I would be spending endless dollars for OTC treatments or putting myself through misery at the podiatrist.

I am getting married in 2 months and I refused to have ugly feet on my honeymoon!

I used acv and I also soaked my feet in hot water. I was told it raises the temp in your body and kills the virus.

After about 3 weeks of this the planter warts turned black and fell off.

They have not come back and its been about 7 months.

I have a five year old who has had warts since he was around 2.

We have tried many different treatments for him. Most just eats away at his skin, and takes care of some of them, but then they multiply very easy.

We began to use ACV, and withing a few days the wart was dark, down low. We used baby q-tips, because they hold more fluid, and seemed to work faster, then covered them with bandaids.

I did notice that if I used it every night, his skin became a little irratated, so we went to every other night, or three times a week. Takes a little longer, but his fingers were getting really red.

His warts never really fell off, they turned dark, then darker, until there was nothing left there at all. No scares left by other medicines. They were just gone.

It took about 3 to 4 weeks, but all 12 of them are now gone. He is so happy. This is the best treatment ever.

Now I am using it to treat my husbands planters warts.

I am in my mid-20s, and have had genital warts for the past 3 years. What started as one, eventually spread to roughly 12. One large one was in a cluster, about the size of a cheerio.

I went to a local clinic 4 months ago and they used their t-acid method of "burning" the warts off. It was the most painful thing I've ever experienced, took weeks to heal, left scarring, and only got rid of half of the warts.

After reaching my wits end, I decided to try the apple cider vinegar method. I used white, water-proof medical tape and tore cotton balls in half. In only two days, my largest warts has already turned black and hard, and I expect it to fall off any day now. I feel reborn with optimism and will continue to use this method until they are all gone!

The pain is VERY VERY MILD, and simply feels like a very light, very faint sting. But it is very tolerable. I tape the cotton ball to the wart each morning, and go about my normal activities. The white tape stays in place throughout the day, and I then wash the area at night in a warm shower before bed, letting it air out while I sleep.

If you are in the position I was, and feeling what I felt, TRUST ME! This is not only the CHEAPEST method, but the most EFFECTIVE and DISCREET way of doing it!

Discovering this remedy was one of the best things I EVER did for my confidence and self-esteem. TRY IT!!! NOW!!! Don't wait! It truly is AMAZING, and works!

I have had warts on the backs of both hands for probably 20 years or more.

I have tried going to a dermatologist and liquid nitrogen freezing with an expensive topical pharmaceutical called Aldara but they always seem to either not go away or they go away but come back again.

A few weeks ago I started applying ACV to the warts using a Q-tip.

I am a very busy person and like to keep things as simple as possible so all I did was a couple of times I used a razor blade to cut off the thick skin of the wart and then applied the ACV with a Q-tip several times per day.
No particular frequency, just when I happened to think about it.

After about a week the warts turned black and some of them fell off. I just kept at it, applying ACV with my Q-tip.

It's been about 5 weeks now and they are almost completely healed. I know the wart virus is very tenacious so I plan to continue topical application of ACV with Q-tip for a few more months to try to completely kill off the virus.

I am normally a very skeptical person about gee-whiz home remedies but this actually seems to work. And it is so cheap, non-toxic and risk free why not give it a try I thought. Glad I did.

Thank you for the web site and the valuable info.

This works! I am so thankful for this remedy.

My son had many tiny warts by his fingernails and the bottom of them.

We bought everything from the store and even tried to freeze them off.

Went to a dermatologist 3 times and spent 150.00 each visit to see very little improvement. Son said, it was very painful as well. Doctor said, where they were located was very hard to get rid of them.

Found information about vinegar and a cotton ball and that was all it took!

After all those years! I am still amazed and so thankful.

They came right off and never to return.

Hi, I have had a plantar wart on my heel of my right foot for about 13 years. I have been trying to get rid of it for over 6 years.

I use to cut it out and my mom would help me and use some type of acid on it. Then I tried freezing it at a doctors office (expensive didnt work). The wart was a tricky bugger. It seemed to get bigger, it is the size of a nickel a little bigger.

After freezing, cutting, duct taping, I went to a professional at a foot institute in chicago to get laser treatment.

Doing this twice (extremely painful and expensive) they said it went away, even though it never looked like it did. And I was right. It actually grew after that.

So I gave acv a try, I'm proud to say that after duct tape with cotton and acv it seems to be working.

It first went yellow after the first day, second day turned white and puffed out, now it has turned brown and is still puffed out.

I'm not sure if I should cut it, but I'm gonna keep up the treatment its looking good. I'll keep you updated

ACV is a life saver !!. For a guy who is skeptical about everything that is said on the internet, ACV suggested on the net was definitely a joke. WRONG, I was absolutely WRONG.

Got the plantars around May 2008. Did not know it was plantars till december last year (thought it was corn or callous). Used all sorts of over the counter Scholl's stuff. Cost me quite a lot of dollars, useless stuff. They had no effect on the wart.

It started on my left foot , near my big toe. Spread on to my right leg under the ball of my foot - extremely painful to walk on. And picking on the wart helped it spread to my palms and fingers. Was going through hell !!!.

Enter ACV (got it from Albertsons for 3$). Like the others have said I used a tissue soaked in ACV and covered it with duct tape. The wart turned black in about 10 days. I washed my hands with ACV before going to sleep and left it to dry on my hands.

The warts turned black and vanished in about 20 days - all of them gone. This happened in January and now not even a trace of the warts is left on my hands or feet !!

Thanks God for ACV !!!

Unknowingly after 6 months of agonizing pain I was informed what was on the bottom of my heel, it's a plantars wart!

I was told by a previous victim. He said I had to have them cut out by a doctor. So I set out to do my own investigating.

Who would have knew? APPLE CIDER VINEGAR! My pain was gone in 3 days! Wart completely gone in about 2 weeks!

Since then I have started drinking ACV for all of it's great benefits, and what do you know, my high blood pressure is now normal. Wow! Take that drug companies!

I am not usually one to review things, or post feedback on stuff I read online, but I was so amazed by this treatment I couldn't resist!!

About 4.5 years ago, I noticed a small plantar wart on the bottom of the ball of my foot, likely picked up from a summer of lifeguarding. It seemed like the more I tried to treat it with the standard treatments (freezing etc) the bigger it got. Finally, I just gave up and hoped it would one day magically disappear.

Lately I began thinking about it again (because it obviously didn't magically disappear!) and started browsing the internet for alternative treatments. It wasn't bothering me physically, it was just embarassing! I had tried duct tape, garlic, and banana peel in the past with no success, but had never heard of apple cider vinegar until stumbling upon this site.

I must admit, even after reading all the testimonials I was still pretty skeptical. So, if you are reading this and are also feeling skeptical, please, just try it!!! It is a total miracle.

After 3 weeks of treating the wart with apple cider vinegar twice a day (taping a cotton ball soaked in vinegar to my foot once in the morning and once before bed), it is 100% gone! It hurt a bit...kind of a throbbing feeling... but nothing unbearable. I thought about giving up after one week because I saw no change, but after about 1.5 weeks it totally dried up and turned black, so just keep with it!

Good luck!

I had the same warts on my toes for three years and thought nothing would make them go away.

Then a helpful person suggested apple cider vinegar to me and it worked in exactly 2 weeks!

I could not believe that something so simple could rid me of my biggest problem/embarrassment.

Wow, it worked!

I had a plantar on the ball of my right foot (behind my big toe) for the last year. It started small and eventually grew to be about 3/4 inch in diameter. Most of it was below surface so it didn't bother me too much to walk on it (though at times it ached or hurt if I stepped a certain way on it).

I decided to let it go and see if it would go away eventually on it's own. I've heard of such things. Well to my astonishment, after a year, another small one appeared next to it. Whoa, that was it! I didn't want a foot full of these things.

I found this website and read about ACV and decided to give it a try. How much could ACV, cotton balls, and duct tape cost? Well, actually about $4 all together. I soaked small cotton balls (the same size as the plantars) and applied them and held them in place with duct tape (I found wrapping completely around my foot to be the best way to hold the cotton in place).

By the second day, I could see it reacting with the plantars. They became dark and loose. I changed the balls twice each day (removing as much dead skin as possible and washing with antibacterial soap before applying the new cotton). It took longer than expected, but it worked.

Total time was two weeks for the plantars to be completely gone (even the big one). I still have a tender area on the ball of my foot where the new skin is healing but the plantars are completely gone! I figure a few more days and I'll be as good as new! I am telling everyone I know about ACV for this terrible problem that plagues so many people.

I hope this story encourages others to try it. Anyway, what do I have to lose? Thank you for this site and thanks for reading my story with a happy ending. Good Luck!

I got my first and only wart about 2 years ago.

I tried all kinds of natural ointments but none worked. I read about ACV and tried it a week ago.

Nothing happened the first 2 days but then it started to hurt for about 2 days. It turned black and rough and hard. I just now touched the wart and the hard skin just came off. Hallelujah! I'll continue with ACV until the skin is smooth again.

I'm a believer. Now I wouldn't even mind if I got another wart. Well, not really.

Happy New Year.

I have to say I'm shocked at the effectiveness of ACV.

Same as the stories here basically, with the warts in a genitally unfortunate place.

Cotton ball (torn in half), soaked with ACV, taped with medical tape, the rest of the area wiped with a damp cloth to avoid irritating anywhere it dripped to. The wart turned white after an hour, black after a day, after two days of continual application it fell off. The skin around is irritated, possibly as much from the tape.

After this irritation heals there is another nearby cluster of warts, and I will probably attack the original one for another couple days. They are flatter and in a cluster, unlike the other one, and also did not turn white the first time ACV was put on them, like the other one.

I've searched medical literature for references to ACV. However, I can only find references to other acids, and no studies relating to using it as a primary cure.

I'm not too surprised that doctors and the medical industry are suggesting such things as Aldara - expensive AND ineffective. But I am pretty surprised to not see at least a couple studies and some anecdotal opinion from a handful of diverse sources. (I wouldn't believe everything I see on a site like apple-cider-vinegar-benefits, until it saved me).

I wonder does stopping the ACV for a day or two to allow some minor skin irritation to subside risk the treatment (this being after a single wart fell off, and a cluster that was only treated with ACV for a few hours had no reaction)? With the complete lack of studies about this amazing treatment, it's probably impossible to answer this. But anecdotal reports would be useful, I'll have one myself soon.

I have three plantar warts on my feet that I have had frozen off 3 times at the doctors, and have tried over the counter meds as well, with no luck.

I have only had them for about 5 months, but they were causing a lot of pain. I am a diabetic so need to be extra careful with my feet.

I thought I would give the vinegar thing a try and I must admit, it has made such an improvement, I am amazed.

After showering, I scrubbed the areas around the warts with a pumice stone to get rid of the rough skin surrounding the warts. I then applied a vinegar soaked cotton ball(I used the ends of the Q-tips) and secured with medical tape. I was changing this every evening before I went to bed and in the morning, but now have just been doing it before bed each night. I did have a hard time finding tape that stuck well, but finally had luck with Johnson and Johnson cloth medical tape.

I have been doing this treatment for approximately 2 weeks and I have no pain and all 3 of the warts have flattened out and there is new skin around the area. They are not completely gone yet, so will keep treating until they are, but am very surprised and happy with the results.

The pain involved with this treatment was minimal, compared to the pain of walking with the warts. The only time I had significant pain was when I got the vinegar on an open area, where some skin had peeled off, and it burned badly, but otherwise was nothing terrible.

I wish I would have tried this before ever going to the doctor, but being Diabetic, I asked them first. I pray I never contract plantar warts ever again, but if I do, I will certainly try the apple cider vinegar treatment first.

I had about 7 or 8 warts in various spots on my right knee. I also had 6 warts total on both of my hands. A few of the warts had been there for over 4 years..

I tried EVERYTHING you can think of over the counter but nothing would work and it seemed like every month a new wart would appear!!

Finally I read online the home remedy of using apple cider vinegar. I soaked a small piece of a cotton ball in the vinegar, and then taped it to the warts at night right before bed. After about 5 days of doing this (and you have to be consistent), the warts suddenly started to turn black, flatten, and eventually disappeared!!!

Every single wart is now gone, with absolutley no scars left behind! This has been over 6 months ago and none of the warts have came back!

Apple Cider Vinegar is truely amazing in my book and I strongly suggest anyone at least give it a try!

It was a miracle for me.
