ACV Really Works for African, American Hair!

French translation

I have been growing my perm out for 3 years and since then I have cut it, and bleached it.

I wanted to go natural and grow it out so I stopped putting chemicals in it and just let it grow.

In return, it grew back extremely thick and at the ends, my hair would dread and lock up EVERY TIME I WASHED IT!

It was so painful to comb out. I asked everyone I knew what to do, and everyone gave me expensive options. So I did some research and I came across the ACV solution.

I never, in a million years, thought it would work, even though I was hopeful.

Now I know it is the best thing I've done for my hair in years! I sprayed the mixture on, left it in for 20 seconds, and it combed right out!

It didn't hurt at all and left my hair soft. I just couldn't believe it. It took me 30 minutes to comb and rebraid my hair, when before it took me 3 to 4 hours, sometimes longer, and even then, my hair wouldn't be combed all the way through because it hurt so bad.

I'm so happy I can't even put it in words.

When I told my husband how it worked for my hair, he said I sounded like an infomercial LOL. But I was so impressed. There was nothing bad I could say.

The smell kicked me a little but I'm going to find some ways to make the smell better.
At this point, I don't care about the smell. I just thank this website and all the comments that people shared of their experience.

This method truly changed my life. I'm really excited to see how it works months from now.

Doneisha, the mixture contains the ACV and water only. You can add other items but it isn't necessary.

Be blessed and I hope you give it a try.

ACV ON COLOR
by: Anonymous

No it will not.. I have blonde on the tips and it hasnt damaged my hair.. Thats what made me use acv because my hair would dread where the color is.

Now it doesn't dread and is easier to comb out.

What about hair color?
by: sabboha

Sorry, here is my comment translated in English.

Can apple cider vinegar affect hair color?

I love using ACV on my hair but I am a bit scared it will turn my hair white.

I would appreciate feedback on the matter.
